Description
USB to I2C Basic is a compact, yet powerful general-purpose I2C tool that allows a user to communicate with any I2C slave device.
USB to I2C Basic includes the USB-based hardware and Windows software that is compatible with 32-bit and 64-bit versions of XP, Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 10.
The USB to I2C Basic interface connects to a standard USB port found on most Personal Computers and provides bi-directional communication with I²C devices using the I²C protocol. The hardware is powered directly from the PC’s USB port.
The USB to I2C Basic software contains two universal modes that provide the flexibility to communicate with any I2C slave device. In addition, support for reading and writing 128 bit to 16k bit EEPROMs is included. There are no device drivers to install since USB to I2C Basic uses standard USB HID drivers that are already installed in the Windows operating system.
The hardware is capable of clock frequencies up to 1 Mb/s, and is compatible with Fm+ devices.
